At volleyball practices drills that they will perform are very important in several ways besides be in shape for a match, with the learning of the offensive and the defensive strategies the volleyball players will gain more experience playing with each other, learning how to play with their partners and promoting the teamwork, how? They will learn which responsibility has each of the volleyball players on the court every match.
In offensive drills the teammates will learn the way of how they will attack their opponents, the teamwork is going to be represented when they know exactly how and when they have to pass the ball to any of the players, the coach must teach them to know with who they are playing with, practice strategies to create great plays.
When the team starts to "play as one", when they know which teammate will help you in each situation the team will be more closer and united, cooperation it's also a main part of the teamwork because the players needs to carry on with a responsibility and be interested in their team giving the best effort they can give, is not that they have to break a leg for the team but show that you give all in the court when you try your best to get a ball to make better passes or for blocking the opponents.
In a defensive way it's very important that the volleyball players known which is their spot at the opponent's attack, not the the opponent team is hitting a ball and all the team goes to the right side of the court or the left side, be organized and have and specific strategy when they have to change to a defensive mode of play.
Besides the play, it's good to create bonds and friendships inside the group and make the experience something fun and happy for all the team, that would be a motivation to the players as a person to all of them, and also for the coach to be a figure to follow to them without taking the discipline will make them be more secure about been part of a volleyball team.
